Goldie Choi is a full-time registered nurse, a reiki practitioner, a freelance photographer, and a content creator who loves connecting with others and sharing her personal experiences to provide insight that may inspire others to be vulnerable, open, and brave. As a nurse who has experienced compassion fatigue and caregiver burnout, she gravitates towards holistic wellness and encourages open discussions on the concept of self-care and what it entails such as complementary medicine (i.e. acupuncture), exercise, and something as simple as rest. she has found her passion by caring for others through reiki and intuitive medicine.
Living in NYC, she has found the outdoors to be a huge part of her self-care. The outdoors has become her safe haven to disconnect, let go, and recharge. It’s been her place of challenge, happiness, growth, and serenity as well as her muse, her teacher, and her ally. She loves exploring the outdoors through all different types of activities such as hiking, climbing, paddle boarding, and snorkeling. She has an abundance of appreciation for mother nature and wants to do her part by living a sustainable lifestyle. Her creative outlet has been photography. She found self-expression through sharing captured moments from her travels up mountains, down valleys, across the rivers and back. She has found joy in capturing landscapes, portraits and rock climbing photography.
